Weather and Anchorage guide
If you have a Nautical license and looking to charter a Bareboat, a RIB or an Open boat for example in Malta, Gozo or Comino, we can help you plan your day. We have provided a Weather and Anchorage charter. This provides some useful information and tips to get the most out of your charter in Malta.
As a Skipper or a Captain, before you plan your itinerary, a check for the weather and sea conditions is a priority, to ensure the comfort and safety of your guests on board. On this guide we haven given you the best spots for anchorage depending on the wind direction and speed. We spoke to a highly experienced Captain who was happy to share his knowledge with us.
We show you the map of Malta, Gozo and Comino, with arrows around the Islands pointing in the wind direction, with beneficial key notes.
What does this weather and anchorage chart show you?
A tick – Means that you are safe to go out and anchor in the bay
? – Questionable, meaning this is up to the Captains discretion.
X – Not a good idea to go out, better to re-schedule your day
How do I book a Bareboat charter?
If you have a valid Nautical license, you may book one of the bare boat charters that we offer. You can pay via a bank transfer or credit card. That’s it… you are now ready to look forward to your day and invite your guests. On the day you will given a hand over on your rented boat and emergency numbers will be provided.
